Brand New: Tenor ft Kiff No Beat “Appeler”. Great Collabo but poor video.

While waiting for his mega concert on August 18th in the Yaoundé sport complex, Tenor has decided to entertain his fans and music lovers with another track titled “Appeler” ft Ivorian artists Kiff No Beat, one of the best groups in Africa.
This tracks comes after his featuring with Cameroon fastest rapper Ko-C in “Balance Remix“. The song is one of the tracks in his recent “Nnom Ngui” EP. The video was directed by the Ivorian video director Bouba Atkins of Boss Playa.
The video was not up to expectation as it didn’t reflect the theme of the song without forgetting the image quality and the setting in the video. For an artist like Tenor in collaboration with one of the best rappers in Africa, I think he deserved a better video. I am not speaking as a video director but as a music lover.
We don’t know why he decided to go for an Ivorian director in the first place when we have top directors in the country. Was he trying to please his fans in that country? Is Bouba Atkins one of the best directors in Ivory Coast?
We have seen international artists make use of top video directors in Cameroon, for example; Fanicko’s “Billet” video was directed by NS picture and it is already at more than 700k views on youtube after one month, Shan’l ft Magasco “love it” still by NS picture without forgetting Senzaa ft Magasco in “Bongo chopi” done by Nkeng Stephens just to name a few.
We are all aware that, video quality doesn’t guarantee a hit but an artist like Tenor deserve better.
